Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data DPAILE collects when you use the service, why it is collected, and the choices you have over it.
Data we collect
DPAILE is a tool for managing marketplace listings, so most of the data we handle is the data required to do that. This falls into three groups:
- Account details you provide when signing up or contacting us, such as your name, business name, role, and email address.
- Marketplace data pulled from the seller accounts you connect - listing content, product attributes, pricing and inventory, order and return records, and performance and account-health signals.
- Usage data generated as you use the product, used to keep the service working and to improve it.
How we use data
Data is used to deliver the features you signed up for and nothing unrelated to them:
- Optimizing listings - rewriting titles and keywords, and checking image quality.
- Monitoring buy-box eligibility, search ranking, and account-health metrics.
- Flagging policy-compliance risk on listings and practices.
- Consolidating orders and returns across connected marketplaces.
- Communicating with you about your account, including sending login credentials after signup.
Marketplace connections
When you connect a marketplace, you authorize DPAILE to access it through that marketplace's own connection process, using the narrowest permissions a feature needs. Read access supports syncing and monitoring; write access is used only to apply optimizations you approve. You can revoke a connection at any time from the marketplace's settings, which ends our access to it.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with the service providers required to run DPAILE - for example, infrastructure hosting and the email provider used to deliver account messages - and only to the extent needed to perform those functions on our behalf. Marketplace connections exchange data with the marketplaces you choose to connect.
Retention
We keep data for as long as your account is active and the data is needed to provide the service, including the baseline required for monitoring and comparison. When you disconnect a marketplace or close your account, the associated data is removed within a defined window, except where we are required to retain limited records to meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You can access and update your account details from within the product, disconnect any marketplace at any time, and request that we remove data associated with your account. Where you have statutory rights over your personal data, we will honour valid requests to exercise them.
Contacting us about privacy
